Starting his career in first-line IT telephone support, he quickly progressed through roles in desktop support, server management, and network administration. Over the years, he developed expertise across a diverse range of operating systems, including Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server.
A significant portion of his career was spent working in data centres, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience with the critical infrastructure powering modern IT. From copper and fibre cabling to managing high-performance systems in high-demand environments, he mastered the intricacies of delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
Beyond technical proficiency, his career spans multiple sectors, including retail, consulting, gambling, and local government, providing a rich and diverse perspective on the unique IT challenges faced by each industry.
